what to bring to classes
Although we provide the majority of the equipment that you will require for the classes there are few things all members MUST bring with them to every class:
Appropriate workout clothes & footwear
WRAPS - these can be purchased at the gym for BD5, choose from a variety of colours!
Towels/toiletries if you plan to use the showers
This class is the perfect first step for anyone looking for an introduction to the sport of boxing. Learn how to jab, cross, hook and uppercut and incorporate these into multi-punch combinations, other basic skills such as correct stance and basic footwork are the other main features of this class. The perfect start to your journey into boxing!
This is a fantastic total-body workout that you can tailor to your own fitness level. Our Boxing Bootcamp incorporates fast-paced boxing exercises as well as a range of strength and conditioning exercises (such as burpees, planks, push-ups). This class is sure to get your heart pumping and your sweat flowing and it will keep you coming back week after week!
Immerse yourself in the world of boxing in an intensive 1-hour class designed to cover all angles of boxing training while leaving the fighting to the pro’s.
This non-technical boxing class covers 12-rounds, mixing up bag work with conditioning and partnered mitt work. Wildcard is a popular class with our members. Expect to find yourself challenged throughout with a typical boxers routine and minimal breaks.
YOUTH BOXING (AGES 9-13)
For aspiring boxers between the ages of 9-13 years old. In this class you will learn the basics of boxing such as stance, footwork and the various punches that are used to form multi-punch combinations.
